QA Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web applications, mobile applications, and SaaS platforms.
• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
• Verify frontend UI implementation against Figma designs and approved requirements.
• Test RESTful APIs using Postman or similar API testing tools.
• Collaborate with developers to investigate defects and verify bug fixes.
• Validate responsive layouts, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile usability.
• Participate in requirement analysis, feature reviews, and release testing activities.
• Ensure software quality, reliability, and consistency before production releases.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing is preferred.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Ability to write clear test cases, test scenarios, and detailed bug reports.
• Experience performing functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Familiarity with API testing using Postman and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of browser developer tools and basic frontend technologies.
• Ability to verify responsive designs and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript for writing automated tests.
• Familiarity with SQL queries and database validation.
• Experience testing SaaS platforms, ERP systems, CRM applications, or e-commerce websites.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Lighthouse.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with mobile application testing on Android and iOS.
• Understanding of accessibility testing and basic security testing principles.
