Backend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join AL Tamam Business Solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications and APIs. You will work with modern technologies including NestJS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Prisma, and Docker, collaborating with our team to develop and maintain robust software solutions. Minimum 2–3 years of professional backend development experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications.
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, secure, and maintainable code using NestJS and Node.js.
• Design and manage databases using PostgreSQL and Prisma.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Ensure application security and data protection.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong expertise in NestJS and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with Prisma ORM.
• Good knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Git and version control.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms or deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
